Growth Scans

It is a very long time to wait between your 20 week scan and giving birth so this scan is great value to have another peek and see how big your baby has got, you’ll notice a big difference from your earlier scans.

We take measurements from your babies head, waist and leg bones to tell you what your baby currently weighs and also tell you there position.

You don’t need a full bladder at this stage of the pregnancy.

4D scans

4D scans are the ultimate bonding experience. You get to see your babies features, who they look like and also an insight into their personality, are they shy or playful? 4D means live 3D which is a moving image.

What ever your baby is doing during the scan we’ll pick it up, if its sucking their thumb, waving or picking their nose.

The optimum time for a 4D scan is around 27-28 weeks.

4D scans are completely safe, the quality drops off towards 34 weeks of pregnancy as there isn’t much room in there to get your pictures so don’t leave it too late to come!

You don’t need a full bladder for this scan but eating chocolate or drinking orange juice 30 minutes before your scan can help make your baby active to get a good range of pictures.
